Couture-obsessed recessionista brides everywhere will be dancing in the streets once they catch wind of this:  according to Luxe Life (how do I get one of those?), V-Dubbs is reducing the median price of her wedding gowns from $5,500 to $3,800.  She’s calling the collection “demi-couture,” which I’m totally cool with if it means getting an amazing gown for 40% less.

Because dresses that look like “a walking cross-section of the Grand Canyon” aren’t really my bag, here’s to hoping I can find a more traditional design in her collection (at a trunk show somewhere, obvi – $3,800 is still nutso), or better yet – that other designers will follow suit.
